In this engaging class, students will explore the life of one of colonial America’s most fascinating citizens. They will discover what it might have been like to be a young person in the early eighteenth century, when work and entertainment looked much different from today. Students will learn about the Franklin Stove, bifocals, and the lightning rod, along with the scientific principles behind them through hands-on experiments.  We will also look at how medicine was perceived and what it took to become a colonial doctor!
