New class! This time-tested technique can
help with not only your English homework (including writing), but also your foreign language
study. While we will not be writing entire papers, we will practice crafting more interesting sentences and will learn to vary sentence structure and openers to make writing more engaging. Specifically, we will investigate the roles played by eight parts of speech, three sentence structures, four sentence purposes, and several common sentence patterns.
