How do we know about people who lived in ancient times? If people didn’t leave behind any written records, how do we know what food they ate, what clothes they wore, or what hat they did every day? Archeology is tons of dirt-digging, storytelling, mystery-solving fun. One way to find out about people in the past is through archaeology: the study of past life through what’s been left behind. Students will make pottery, harden dirt/clay over bones, a prehistoric weapon, and study bone, pottery, and rocks.
