Introduction to American Sign Language
The second semester of a 2 semester class.
Only available for those who took Sign Language in Spring 2023 or the equivalent. (Please contact teacher if you have equivalent expience.)

How do you communicate if you can’t hear? Come learn the basics of American Sign Language! In this class we will cover the history of this unique language, how it is different from English, and many signs so you can communicate the basics of ASL. Approximate number of hours of homework per week: ½ - 1 hour (practice)

Students supply a folder for vocabulary sheets.

Supply fee: $6 for copies

Tuition, 14 weeks: $130/$94.90 for volunteers
