The first semester of a year-long class. Each semester has its own tuition and supply fee.

A mathematics-intensive high school course that gives students a rigorous foundation in chemistry. Over the year, material will include such topics as kinetics, acids and bases, solutions, atomic structure, and gas. Students who take this course should be well prepared for a challenging university-level chemistry course. This class will focus on academic preparation rather than labs.  Prerequisite: Algebra. Homework: 3-5 hours per week.

Tuition: $250 for 2 hours, 14 weeks/$182.50 for volunteers
