Description:
Physical Science (ages 12-18) The first semester of a year-long class. Becky Furtado Get ready for high-school science with this Apologia-based survey of the physical world. This course covers a broad range of topics including earth science, weather, chemistry, and physics. Students participate in group discussions, games, and hands-on experiments. Focus is placed on developing habits that will carry over into high school science, including note taking, quizzes, and tests. Homework: 1-3 hrs. per week.
