Description:
Registration is only open to students who are enrolled in the first semester of this class until Dec. 9th. After that time, places will no longer be held for first semester students and anyone may register. First semester students must have the appropriate membership form that you should have received in an email. The second semester of a year-long class. Designed to be a student's first systematic introduction to the sciences, students explore topics such as the scientific method, simple machines, geology, archaeology, biology, anatomy, and other disciplines. Experiments and demonstrations are included throughout. Focus is placed on developing habits that will carry over into high school science, such as note taking, quizzes, and tests. Homework: 1-3 hours per week. Students supply Exploring Creation with General Science Student Textbook, 3rd Edition (Apologia) Ending 5/01 Tuition, 14 weeks: $130/$94.90 for volunteers Supply Fee: $18 For information on volunteering, click here.
