How many people have the same favorite sweatshirt as you, or the same family car?  None of this was possible before the Industrial Revolution. From the 1700’s to the 1900’s the world changed from a make-your-own everything to a society of manufactured goods. We will meet the dynamic individuals who led this revolution and learn how their innovations impacted the lives of everyone, rich and poor, city dwellers and farmers alike. Our hands-on class will create a water-powered wheel, build a telegraph machine, and make a pinhole camera.

Tuition: $120/$87.60 for volunteers

Supply Fee: $18
