This class takes place at the Museum of Ontario Archaeology, 1600 Attawandaron Rd.
London Ontario, N6G 3M6.

Learn the background of wild clay and how to find and process it.  We will provide each participant with dry wild clay - you don't have to go out and find your own for this class!

Go through the steps of processing this wild clay, making pots with it, and then conclude with a pit firing to end up with pots truly made start to finish by you!

Dates/Times:

Sunday, August 30th - 1pm-4pm (Background, start wild clay processing, make pot with commercial clay to practice)

Sunday, September 6th - 1pm-4pm (Finish processing wild clay & leave to firm up, finish commercial clay pot(s))

Sunday, September 13th - 1pm-4pm (Make pots with wild clay)

Sunday, September 20th - 1pm-4pm (Finish pots with wild clay, discussion of what to expect in pit firing)

------Gap week to allow pieces to come back from bisque firing------

Saturday, October 3rd - 10am-1pm (pot decoration and loading/lighting pit)

Sunday, October 4th - 10am-1pm (unloading pit and pot cleanup/polishing)
