Learn about composition, scale, and what makes a drawing especially “stitchable.” Students will receive a 7” in. embroidery hoop with stretched fabric to use as a stitch sampler to learn and practice basic stitches that will later be used to create the final embroidery piece. Students will learn to stretch and prepare a new piece of fabric for their finished piece using the provided hoop. Using a finalized sketch, students will use learned techniques to copy the design onto fabric and begin stitching their custom embroidery art!
