Description:

For Boys and Girls in 1st & 2nd Grade (ages 6 to 8 years old). Players will learn basic skills and fundamentals of the game in a fun non competitive environment. The program consists of 4 weeks of practice followed by 5-6 weeks of games. Practice can begin the week of March 3rd at your practice park location or within a 2-mile radius of your practice park. Volunteer coaches determine practice days and times, and are asked to hold at least 5 practices before games begin. Additional practice once games have begun is at the discretion of the coach.

Games will be held Tuesday and Thursday nights 5:30 pm or 6:30 pm starting April 1st and ending on or before May 9th. Games for this league will be played at regional parks near or at your practice park location.

Required age: 6 - 8 years old as of 3/3/2025

Notes: Shin guards are required to participate. Soccer cleats encouraged but not required. Toe cleats are not permitted. Please contact the Sports Office at 719-385-5981 or email Sports.FrontDesk@coloradosprings.gov if you have not heard from your participant's coach by 3/3/25

Prerequisites: Players must be enrolled in the 1st or 2nd Grade for the 2024 - 2025 School Year
