2025 - Spring Break Camp (Mission to Mars)

Spring Break Camp - March 24th - 28th 

 

Our Engineers will be inspired by Mars-themed children's literature Featured in this week of camp. The stories will deepen their knowledge and spark their imaginations as they engage in hands-on engineering challenges using EFK's Engineering Design Process. In the stories and challenges, students will explore various topics in science, as well as mechanical, aerospace, geologic, and environmental engineering. This camp is sure to spark children's imagination and ignite their curiosity about the Future of Mars exploration. 

 

Full Day Camp Schedule:

  • 8:00am-9:00am – Extended Care Drop-off (Free play time)*

  • 9:00am-12:00pm - Morning Session with 20 minute snack break

  • 12:00pm-1:00pm - Lunch with Break

  • 1:00pm-4:00pm - Afternoon Session with 20 minute snack break

  • 4:00pm-5:00pm - Extended Care Pick-up (Free play time)*

 

Breaks & Lunch:
Campers should bring a water bottle, lunch, and two(2) healthy snacks for each day. We will have one 20-minute break per morning and afternoon session, and a longer break after eating lunch. Please let us know through the child information form you complete during registration, if there are any allergies we should be aware of. This information will be passed along to the instructors.

 

*Extended Care:
We are offering extended care during our Spring Break Camp. Extended care hours begin at 8:00am prior to Morning Session and at 4:00pm after Afternoon Session. If you need to utilize this service, please add it to your cart from the extension section. Extended Care can be selected per day.

 

Camp Cancellation/Absence Policy:
All cancellation and change requests must be submitted in writing by emailing us at hubertus@engineeringforkids.com. For the fastest service, simply reply to your invoice email. No refunds are given if cancelling 7 or fewer days from the start date of the camp. For any approved cancellations, you may choose between either a full account credit or a refund minus a 5% processing fee. By registering, you reserve a seat in our camp. As such, EFK is not able to provide a refund or credit for any absence or tardiness that occurs during your scheduled session, including those related to illness.
