Description:
This course breaks down the stages of painting the portrait into bite-size pieces.
Each layered step completes a set of requirements that provides structural scaffolding for the next stage of the painting. Many references from master portrait painters help students gain confidence using a limited palette in oils. Live models and photo references provide opportunities to do several practice sessions and complete work from self-selected approved photo references. This is an open course beneficial and supportive to all artists working at different stages in their artistic development.
