Description:
Ever had trouble mixing a colour when painting? Do your colours constantly turn into brown when you are trying to colour match? Wondering what the difference is between the various paint colour names offered at art stores? Then this is the crash course for you! During this workshop, students will learn everything they need to know about colour theory and successfully mixing colour with paint. Students will learn how to decode paint labels, understand the differences between professional and student grade paint colours, explore the differences between pigments, opaque and transparent colours and how to use them, and test out various colour mixes and palettes such as complimentary, analogous, and monochrome. Various technical exercises will be given during the workshop to help master these concepts.
