Description:
The human form has been a captivating subject for millennia! This course aims to equip young artists with techniques and concepts to make their drawings of people more lifelike. Throughout this course, students will be led through a series of exercises and figure studies so they may better develop an understanding of the forms and movements of the body. Along the way, we will cover topics like foreshortening, dynamic poses, clothing, gathering reference, and how to go beyond copying, using reference photos as a starting point for a more interesting drawing result.
