Students will have the opportunity to experiment with different subjects, from still life to landscapes, and develop their own unique style under Lisa's guidance.

One of the unique aspects of this course is the use of water-mixable oils, which offer the rich, vibrant colors and buttery texture of traditional oils while allowing for easy cleanup with water. By the end of the course, participants will have completed several finished oil paintings and gained the confidence and skills to continue their artistic journey with oils. Whether you're a complete novice or have some experience with painting, this course offers a welcoming environment for all aspiring artists to unleash their creativity and express themselves through the timeless medium of oil painting. Join us at the Kingston School of Art and embark on an inspiring artistic adventure with Lisa Leskien!

Please note: students are asked to bring their own materials, listed in the notes. Lisa has asked for students to bring water-soluble oil paints to help with the ventilation and disposal issues in the studio. If students are adamant about bringing regular oil paints, please be prepared to bring and safely take home your own spirit solutions.
