Description:
Eating well becomes increasingly important as we age. The food and beverages we chose to eat, along with our habits around eating, play key roles in the quality of these years and our longevity. Join us for discussions on age-related diseases such as osteoporosis, type-2 diabetes and cardiac disease. We will also delve into the importance of maintaining a healthy gut microbiome, how to prevent cognitive decline and more. Don't miss the opportunity to learn how to eat well, and live a healthy life in your golden years. Instructor: Patricia Good worked as a registered dietitian for 33 years, working mostly with children and families.
