Description:

Good Bones Hop Farm.  A young couple have dreams of owning their own hop farm. After a fruitless search they discover a long-neglected farm that has been for sale for decades. The crooked real estate agent says that the land is polluted, but inspection proves it is fertile and was a productive hop farm once. Locals tell of a more sinister reason why no one will buy the land. Under threats and intimidation they buy the land anyway and discover a murder.  Who did it and how?

Instructors: Dianne Volrich and Roland Semjanovs are long-time presenters for North Island College, Mid Island College and many other organizations. Their presentations include eclectic topics ranging from science, history, art and horticulture. Murder Mysteries are a new addition with a library of 8 stories.  These are held in classrooms and private gatherings. Dianne is a story-teller, published author and artist. Her past associations include the Vancouver Aquarium and Kiwanis, among others. She is the founder of the Langley Ukrainian Society and a volunteer with Vancouver Island Health.  Roland is a photographer, historian and techy.  His background is in journalism and he worked on several newspapers in B.C.  He also served on Government Environment Assessment boards in the NWT.
