SMLI's Explore It! family workshop series invites families to take a deep dive into unique science topics. Each workshop will feature hands-on activities and demonstrations.
Sunday March 9th: Sap to Syrup
Sugaring season is finally here! Join us for an informative and hands-on look at the complete process behind everyone's favorite pancake topper. Learn all about maple trees, the tools of the trade, then head to the preserve to tap them yourself! Be sure to join us back at the museum for a maple syrup taste test: can you tell the difference between amber, dark, and the fake stuff?
Cost: $25 per participant. *Tickets must be purchased for all participants over the age of 3. $10 discount for adults (date of birth must be listed on Amilia profile for discount to process)

Notes: Please enter via our Visitor Entrance and park in the visitor parking lot. This program takes place in the main house on the top of the hill. Participants should check-in at the front desk in lobby upon arrival. *No refunds or credits unless a program is cancelled by SMLI
Prerequisites: Tickets must be purchased for all participants over the age of 3. All children must be accompanied by an adult, this is not a drop off program.
