Description:

Join Casa’s Artist in Residence Camryn Carnell to learn drawing methods that translate visual references into abstracted forms. These strategies are intended to make abstraction and stylization more accessible for all artists.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have a finished drawing made with pencils, pencil crayons, and pastels, that doubles as an inventory of personalized forms they can use in future work.

Materials provided. Participants are invited to bring their own small object to use as a visual reference.
