Description:

This workshop will explore tips, tricks, and techniques for wheel throwing and assembling the perfect mug for your favourite hot beverage. The first day will focus on throwing shapely vessels with an emphasis on mug functionality. On day two, students will trim their pieces from the previous day and learn a variety of different ways to make, decorate, and attach handles in an ergonomic way.

This is an intermediate level workshop, so Intro to Clay Wheel or equivalent experience is a prerequisite. Clay techs will glaze pieces following the workshop for students who do not have Casa Studio Access.
