CEED is partnering with the New York Mycological Society (NYMS) and the Long Island Mycological Club (LIMC) to bring a full day of fungi-inspired exploration to Brookhaven!

Start the afternoon with a guided foraging walk led by our Mushroom Educator in Residence, Conor Cash, as we uncover the hidden world of local mushrooms across CEED’s trails. Then, gather for the opening reception of Conor’s new art installation, Destratified Bodies, an evocative showcase that blurs the lines between ecology, art, and the mycelial networks that connect us all.

The Long Island Mycological Club will also be tabling on-site, displaying live specimens and sharing insights into the incredible fungal biodiversity of our region
