Description:

Program Description:
Explore the peaceful details of water and woodland during this beginner-friendly nature sketching and watercolor workshop at Post Morrow on Bay Road in Brookhaven Hamlet.

We will begin outdoors by observing Beaverdam Creek and surrounding trees. Participants will create simple sketches of the pond, reflections, plants, tree shapes, and natural textures before adding watercolor to complete a beautiful nature-journal-style page.

Jennifer Lucas will demonstrate approachable techniques for drawing trees, painting foliage and water, and capturing reflections without getting lost in detail. All materials and drawing guides will be provided, and no previous drawing or watercolor experience is necessary.

Please dress for a short period of outdoor observation. The painting portion of the workshop will be completed indoors or in a sheltered area.

This workshop will take place at 16 Bay Road, Brookhaven Hamlet 11719 and not at CEED.
