Program Description:
Join Ranger Eric and Mike Evans from Forgotten Skillz for the 4th of 10 adventures on survival. Elevate your survival skills with our Shelter Building Workshop! Learn to conquer the elements by mastering the art of shelter construction. From crafting sturdy lean-tos to improvising with space blankets, paracords, and natural landscape features, we've got you covered. This hands-on workshop will guide you through the essentials of creating protective structures in the wild. Bring your work gloves and survival knife (loaners available) – it's time to get hands-on and a little messy as you build your way to safety and comfort in the great outdoors.
Be prepared for the elements with proper layers, footwear, gloves, and a hand towel. In the case of rain, we will have an indoor option
Minimum age- 15 years old (Children under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.)
This is the fourth of ten "stand-alone" workshops.
