Description:
A Herbal Holiday Gathering at CEED Join us for a cozy afternoon that celebrates the land, the garden, and the season. We’ll begin with a heartfelt land acknowledgment and a stroll through CEED’s demonstration gardens, where thyme, oregano, and sage are ready for harvest — perfect for your holiday cooking. Then we’ll head inside to warm up with herbal tea made from our own garden herbs and get creative with two simple, nature-inspired crafts: charming herbal fairy brooms and soothing lavender pillows — no sewing required! It’s a relaxing, sensory experience that smells as good as it feels. This workshop is open to anyone ages 12 and up. Half of all proceeds go right back into caring for CEED’s community gardens, helping them grow and thrive for everyone. About the Instructor
Karin Falcone Krieger is a master gardener, personal chef, suburban homesteader, and the creative voice behind Wild Working Gardens, a newsletter exploring organic and regenerative gardening (with a touch of astrology!). Karin’s hands-on approach and deep love for plants make her workshops as inspiring as they are down-to-earth.
