Description:
Join us for a hands-on journey through the animal kingdom! In this workshop, kids will join Ranger Eric Powers to explore the furs and bones of animals ranging from goats to whales and compare them with some of our live animal ambassadors like Avita the tegu and Ozzie the Bearded Dragon. Afterwards, the class will go on a nature walk to explore what types of animals lurk in our backyards and where we can find them.
Throughout this session, kids will be introduced how to classify animals as mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and fish.
