Pottery Intensive: Mastering the Wheel and Beyond | Tuesdays and Thursdays | October 22-November 7 | 6 - 8 pm | Ages 14+

Dive deep into the art of pottery with our Pottery Intensive class, designed for those looking to elevate their skills and push their creative boundaries. This immersive course focuses on advanced wheel-throwing techniques, complex forms, and surface decoration. Whether you're refining your existing skills or exploring new artistic challenges, this class offers personalized instruction and plenty of studio time to develop your unique style. By the end of the course, you'll have a collection of finished pieces that showcase your progress and creativity.

Ideal for intermediate to advanced potters, this intensive class requires a solid foundation in basic pottery skills. It’s also perfect for those considering our monthly Ceramic Studio Membership, providing a deeper exploration of the studio environment and preparing you for independent work. Come prepared to take your pottery to the next level!

The registration fee includes one 25-pound bag of clay, along with glaze and firing.

Additional clay is available for purchase if needed.

Pottery will be available for pickup within 2-3 weeks after the last class. Our admin team will contact you when your pottery is ready for pickup!

Refund Policy for All Programming:

With a doctor’s note, we will provide a full credit for any missed classes if you or your child are unable to attend. However, if you or your child miss a single session in a multi-week class, we are unable to provide a credit for that session. Alternatively, you may choose to donate your class credit to our scholarship fund for children’s programming. Please note that we are unable to provide cash or credit card refunds. Thank you for your understanding.

Scholarships for Art Center of the Bluegrass classes are awarded based on demonstrated financial need, availability of funds, and space in the requested class.
