Sculptural Additions with Jeff Alexander | Saturday | July 18th 9am-5pm  | Ages 14+

Explore the historical precedent behind adding clay elements to thrown pots, and develop a personal expressive vocabulary in this hands-on two-day Ceramic Workshop with Jeff Alexander.

Jeff is a former instructor of sculpture, design, drawing, ceramics, and art history at Kentucky State University. He studied art at the University of California at Santa Barbara and Ohio State, where he received a master's in fine art. He lives in a handmade house built with friends on 100 acres in Woodford County with his wife and two dogs. He practices multimedia art-making, including ceramics, functional design, and furniture building

Program Policies: Refunds, Credits, and Scholarships

While we’re unable to provide refunds, a class credit will be issued if a class is cancelled, which you can apply to other art classes or Open Studio sessions. If you or your child cannot attend due to illness (with a doctor’s note), we’re happy to offer a full class credit. For individual missed sessions in multi-week classes, we’re unable to provide credits, but you may choose to donate your credit to support children’s programming scholarships. We appreciate your understanding!
