Drawing 101: Foundations of Drawing - Fall Session 2024 | Tuesdays | 6-8 PM | October 29, November 5, 12, and 19.

Unlock your creativity and learn the fundamentals of drawing in this beginner-friendly class! "Drawing 101" is designed for those looking to develop their skills and confidence in drawing, regardless of experience. Students will explore essential techniques such as line, shading, perspective, and composition while working with a variety of subjects, including still life, landscapes, and basic figure drawing. Through guided instruction and hands-on practice, you will build a solid foundation in drawing and learn to see the world through an artist’s eye. Please bring a sketchbook, drawing pencils, and erasers. All other materials are provided! Just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!

Refund Policy for All Programming:

With a doctor’s note, we will provide a full credit for any missed classes if you or your child are unable to attend. However, if you or your child miss a single session in a multi-week class, we are unable to provide a credit for that session. Alternatively, you may choose to donate your class credit to our scholarship fund for children’s programming. Please note that we are unable to provide cash or credit card refunds. Thank you for your understanding.

Scholarships for Art Center of the Bluegrass classes are awarded based on demonstrated financial need, availability of funds, and space in the requested class.
