Mondays | July 7th-July 28th | Teen Wheel Throwing: Mugs & Cups | 4:00 PM to 6:00 pm | Ages 12-17 (Grades 6-12)

Get ready to create custom mugs and cups in this hands-on camp! Each week, teens will learn new pottery wheel techniques, from centering the clay to shaping the perfect cup or mug. Dive into the world of textures, glazes, and unique designs while building functional, handmade pieces. By the end of the camp, you’ll have a set of one-of-a-kind mugs and cups to showcase your pottery skills!

Program Policies: Cancellations, Transfers, and Scholarships

Please note that we do not provide refunds for summer camps or classes. Instead, if a program is canceled by the Art Center, we’ll issue a full credit that can be used for future camps, art classes, or Open Studio sessions.

If you or your child are unable to attend due to illness (with a doctor’s note), we’re happy to issue a full credit so you can enjoy a class or camp at a later time. Just let us know as soon as possible. 

Please note that we’re unable to offer credits for missed days in weekly camps or multi-week sessions.

If you’re unable to use your credit, or if you prefer, you can donate it to our scholarship fund, which helps provide art opportunities for children in our community.

Notes: Camp is held in the Ceramic Studio located in the basement area of 401 (Glass Museum).

Prerequisites: No experience necessary.
