Camp Invention & Upcycling | Monday - Friday | August 4th - August 8th | 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Rising 1st to Rising 5th Graders

Join us for a fun-filled, eco-conscious camp where kids become inventors, artists, and environmental champions! Using everyday materials like plastic bottles, cardboard, fabric scraps, and more, campers will design and build unique creations—from cool sculptures and useful gadgets to funky wearable art. They'll dive into the creative process, learning how to repurpose what others might toss out into something new and amazing. With a focus on problem-solving, innovation, and sustainability, campers will leave with their own handmade masterpieces and a new appreciation for the power of upcycling.

 

Program Policies: Cancellations, Credits, and Scholarships

Please note that we do not provide refunds for summer camps or classes. Instead, if a program is canceled by the Art Center, we’ll issue a full credit that can be used for future camps, art classes, or Open Studio sessions.

If you or your child are unable to attend due to illness (with a doctor’s note), we’re happy to issue a full credit so you can enjoy a class or camp at a later time. Just let us know as soon as possible. 

Please note that we’re unable to offer credits for missed days in weekly camps or multi-week sessions.

If you’re unable to use your credit, or if you prefer, you can donate it to our scholarship fund, which helps provide art opportunities for children in our community.
