This academic workshop is intended for incoming Grade 6, 7, and 8 students.

This is a half day workshop focusing on English from 9:00am to 12:00pm, with lunch included from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. 

This half day English workshop will immerse students in a supportive and interactive environment focusing on reading, writing, and communication skills.

This workshop is ideal for students who wish to build stronger English skills and develop a love for language. Students will participate in a variety of activities, including reading workshops, guided writing exercises, and vocabulary games. Sessions will emphasize understanding and analyzing texts, building effective paragraphs, and expressing ideas clearly.

Teachers will help students strengthen their grammar, expand their vocabulary, and practice strategies for reading comprehension and literary discussion. By the end of the workshop, students will feel more confident as readers.

Note: There will not be any sessions on Wednesday, July 1st due to the Canada Day holiday

Required age: 10 - 14 years old as of 12/31/2026

Notes: Lunch is included. Our dining room provides healthy and delicious meals with a variety of choices. Special dietary needs are supported by our Food Services team.
