​​​​​In this camp, students will engage in the development and refinement of their art portfolios, specifically designed to meet the criteria for university and college art program applications. The curriculum centers around teacher-guided studio projects aimed at portfolio success, with a strong emphasis on creating compelling, high-quality work.

For students with a broader interest in studio art, the course will also explore conceptual and experimental practices, encouraging creativity and innovation. As part of the learning experience, students will participate in a photography field trip to local art galleries, offering inspiration and insight into the professional art world.

The final day will include a professional photography session to document students' artwork, followed by an Art Vernissage (art exhibition) to showcase and celebrate their achievements throughout the week.

This camp is taught by an experienced art educator with a rich background, having worked at prestigious institutions such as the School for Art in Toronto, Canterbury School for the Arts, and Elmwood School.

Each participant will receive a personalized art supply kit to spark endless creativity long after the camp ends.

Notes: Lunch is included for all summer camp registrations. Our dining room provides healthy and delicious meals with a variety of choices. Special dietary needs are supported by our Food Services team.
