Course Description:
This course broadens students’ understanding of mathematics as it relates to managing information. Students will apply methods for organizing large amounts of information; apply counting techniques, probability and statistics in modelling and solving problems; and carry out a culminating project that integrates the expectations of the course and encourages perseverance and independence. Students planning to pursue university programs in business, the social sciences, or the humanities will find this course of particular interest.

Class Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 4:00pm with a 60-min lunch and two 15-min breaks

Start Date: Monday, June 22, 2026
End Date: Friday, July 17, 2026

Note: There will not be any classes on Wednesday, July 1st due to the Canada Day holiday

Price: $1,750.00 Taxes waived

Required age: 13 - 21 years old as of 12/31/2026

Notes: Lunch is included for all credit course registrations. Our dining room provides healthy and delicious meals with a variety of choices. Special dietary needs are supported by our Food Services team.

Prerequisites: Functions, Grade 11, University Preparation (MCR3U), OR Functions and Applications, Grade 11, University/College Preparation (MCF3M)
