Description:

Join our immersive summer program where campers become gardeners, farmers, and food justice leaders using the school garden as their learning center. Campers will grow vegetables, plant wildflowers, and manage composters, while crafting eco-friendly art and writing a community cookbook.

Through hands-on workshops, they'll explore urban agriculture, sustainability, and climate change, developing skills like collaboration, creativity, and leadership. Service-learning projects will benefit the community, fostering environmental stewardship and citizenship.

Pre and post care is available 8:30-9:00am and 4:00-4:30pm at no additional cost.

Required age: 8 - 12 years old as of 12/31/2024

Notes: Lunch is included for all summer camp registrations. Our dining room provides healthy and delicious meals with a variety of choices. Special dietary needs are supported by our Food Services team.
