Description:

This program is for the individual who may require medical nutrition therapy. Medical nutrition therapy is nutrition-based treatment used to help manage certain medical conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes, heart disease, or hypertension. It involves assessing, determining and recommending modifications to specific nutrients, and/or adjusting the intake of nutrients due to the use of prescribed medications. Medical nutrition therapy can benefit the patient's health and possibly reduce future health care costs.

• 3 Virtual Nutrition Consultation
• Personalized nutrition education  
• Extended custom nutrition plan  
• Create and track SMART goals  
• Upon registration, the YMCA staff dietitian will email you to schedule your first appointment.
