Harry A. Nottingham Park - Creekside Picnic Shelter
Description
- Picnic Permits are required when planning to reserve a picnic shelter in Harry A. Nottingham Park. Picnic permits are issued to groups who need no special assistance from Town personnel other than securing the space. Picnic shelters are open for use on a first come first serve basis unless reserved through the Recreation Department.
- A clean-up/damage fee may be assessed if the area is not left in an acceptable fashion. Trash and or recycling may not be left next to receptacles and any excess trash or recycling shall be disposed of or carried out by the Applicant.
- Power is not provided
- Special Event Permits are required when 50 or more people are involved, and technical assistance is required from Town personnel. Please visit http://avon.org/2042/2019-Special-Events or contact the Special Events Department for more information
- Inflatable and/or amusement structures/devices are not permitted without the following:
- Recreation Department approval
- Approval of location from Deputy Operations Manager
- Oversight by third-party company's attendant to setup/attend to the structure
- Company provided liability insurance provided naming the Town of Avon as additionally insured
