O'Neal Spur Park - Picnic Shelter
Description
- Picnic Permits are required to be submitted when planning to reserve use the O'Neal Spur Pocket Park picnic shelter. Picnic permits are issued to groups who need no special assistance from Town personnel other than securing the space. The picnic shelter in O'Neal Spur Park is open on a first come first serve basis unless reserved through the Recreation Department.
- A clean-up/damage fee may be assessed if the area is not left in an acceptable fashion. Trash and or recycling may not be left next to receptacles and any excess trash or recycling shall be disposed of or carried out by the Applicant.
- Power is not provided
- Special events are not permitted at the O'Neal Spur Park location. Special events are defined as gatherings that have 50 or more people present and/or require technical assistance from Town personnel. If interested in holding a special event in Harry A. - Inflatable and/or amusement structures/devices are not permitted without the following:
- Recreation Department approval
- Approval of location from Deputy Operations Manager
- Oversight by third-party company's attendant to setup/attend to the structure
- Company provided liability insurance provided naming the Town of Avon as additionally insured
