Ballet Chicago is one of the nation's premier nonprofit ballet schools, providing exceptional dance education for students ages 3 through adult. The School offers a comprehensive curriculum that develops strong technical skills, artistry, musicality, discipline, and confidence in a supportive, student-centered environment. As one of the few schools in the United States dedicated to teaching in the George Balanchine® style, Ballet Chicago prepares students for success whether they aspire to professional dance careers or simply wish to experience the lifelong benefits of high-quality ballet training. Ballet Chicago offers year-round classes for children, teens, and adults, including Creative Dance, Children's Division, Youth Division, Pre-Professional Division, Men's Programming, and Summer Intensive training. The Ballet Chicago's Studio Company serves as the School's pre-professional performance ensemble, offering advanced dancers intensive coaching, expanded performance support Ballet Chicago provides numerous performance opportunities throughout the year, including DanceVision, a performance of new choreography each fall, its celebrated production of The Nutcracker, spring repertory performances, and community events.
