Little Ballers Basketball

Bally Sports Group provides children with a fun and educational first basketball experience! Players are taught the fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, defense, and the concept of game play. The curriculum incorporates teaching styles that help this age group build an understanding of the skills that are taught by utilizing fun terminology and engaging activities. A positive and encouraging atmosphere is created in which kids learn proper sportsmanship. Each week players participate in developmentally appropriate instruction and modified, recreational game play.

Ages: 4 - 5

When: Saturdays, March 1 - 29

Time: 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Spring 2025

Registration Opens January 1st

Learn to Lax

Come out and learn the exciting game of lacrosse in the Bally Sports Group Lacrosse Program! Children will be split by age group in this recreational program, designed to introduce the basic skills and help players understand the rules and style of the game. Coaches will use fun games to teach participants the fundamentals including scooping ground balls, throwing, catching, cradling, shooting, and defending. Each week will include a practice portion to help skill development as well as modified, non-competitive game. Checking will not be allowed and there will be no physical contact. Face goggles, helmets, and pads are not required for this program.  Players are welcomed to bring their own sticks, but extra sticks will be provided for those who do not have their own.

Granville Rookie Runners

This fun-based run program is designed to teach young athletes the basics of running in a fun and interactive way. Participants will learn proper stretching, warm-ups, conditioning, techniques, and cool-down throughout the course of the program. Each week, the program will include both instructional and interactive sections. Bally Sports' staff will lead the program each week, however parent assistance is welcomed. 

Who: Boys and Girls in Grades 2-3

When: 2nd Grade - Wednesday Afternoons, 4/2 - 4/30; 3rd Grade - Thursday Afternoons, 4/3-5/1

Time: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Summer 2025

Little Sluggers T-Ball

Bally Sports Group’s Little Sluggers is a great introduction to the game of baseball for young children! Using age appropriate activities, players will be introduced to the fundamentals of the game including batting, base running, fielding, throwing, and catching. The program will include both instruction and gameplay each week.  Parents are encouraged to assist, but Bally Sports staff will lead the program.  Bally Sports strives to emphasize the importance of great sportsmanship by creating an encouraging atmosphere that helps players build self-esteem and encourage future participation!

Age: 3-4

When: Saturday afternoons, June 7th - July 12th (no class 7/5/25)

Times: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Racoon Valley Park

Mini Sports Camp

Young campers will have a Ball at the Mini Sports Camp! Each day will focus on a different sport including soccer, basketball, football, floor hockey, track and field, and more!  Staff will ensure campers are participating in a well-supervised environment that creates positive, social interactions and emphasizes the importance of sportsmanship. Campers will also play exciting camp games throughout the week. Campers will leave excited about new skills they have learned each day!

Who: Children Ages 4-7 

When: Session 1 - June 2 - June 6, Session 2 - July 28 - August 1

Time: Monday - Friday; 9 AM - 12 PM

First and Ten - Football Camp

Campers learn the fundamentals of football using fun games and drills appropriate for their age group. Athletes will practice running the ball, pass routes, catching, throwing, blocking and game concepts during game play. Camp will include mini contests and competitions.  Bally Sports will be sure to emphasize sportsmanship and demonstrate positive attitudes for campers.

Ninja Training Camp

Come challenge yourself with Bally Sports this summer!  The Bally Sports’ Ninja Training Camp offers a wide variety of games and activities planned to test each campers' skill, speed, strength, balance, mind and most of all, their ability to work as a teammate. Examples of challenges that will be offered next week include Tug-Of-War, Human Pyramid, Shipwreck, Ladder Runs, Multiple Relay Races, Link Tag, Monkey Lines, Obstacle Courses and much more.
