RIDEONBC: SUPPORT THE BC SNOWMOBILE FEDERATION'S LAND ACCESS FUND TO SAFEGUARD RIDER INTERESTS
The BC Snowmobile Federation (BCSF) and its member clubs are being asked to participate in a growing number of land use and consultation meetings that could have lasting impacts on rider access. However, with many files in different government agencies moving at once, effective participation is becoming increasingly difficult and expensive. At the local level, snowmobilers may not have the necessary background knowledge or support to make informed decisions. Meanwhile, the BCSF currently has to weigh each request against its limited budget.
To address this, the BCSF is partnering with riders to establish the RideOnBC Land Access Fund. The program will provide consistent funding to ensure we can be there to represent snowmobile interests when and where it matters most. The fund will be used for essential tools such as hiring professionals to counsel on technical matters, updating economic impact studies, conducting scientific research, attending all meetings that could impact access, tools that promote stewardship, and sharing the real story about who snowmobilers are. By supporting this fund, you can help secure access in BC for this and future generations of riders.
Why Your Support Matters
This is your chance to support advocacy efforts for your sport. If you enjoy snowmobiling in BC or live in a community where snowmobiling is important to your economy, please share and contribute to the RideOnBC Land Access Fund.
