Join us for an exciting adventure on the red planet in our "Mars Exploration with VEX GO" robotics camp! Campers will take on the role of engineers and scientists, using VEX GO robotics to design, build, and code tools inspired by NASA's Perseverance rover and the Mars 2020 Mission. From building devices to assist astronauts to program a robot to collect geological samples, this camp offers hands-on STEM learning packed with creativity and exploration.

Target Students:

This camp is ideal for curious and creative learners who enjoy building, experimenting, and solving challenges. Whether they’re budding engineers or simply fascinated by how things work, campers with a love for hands-on activities and an interest in STEM concepts will thrive in this camp. No prior experience with robotics or VEX GO is required, making it accessible to all skill levels.

Learning Outcome:

During this camp, participants will dive into the amazing universe of real-world robot applications hearing from robotics engineers and astronauts. Campers will apply creativity to their builds in a parade, and take on real-world challenges on Mars during their hands-on experience in building, programming, and driving their GO robots. Our project-based learning robotics camp awakens curiosity, nurtures problem-solving skills, and sparks creativity within the field of robotics.

Daily Camp Schedule:

9 AM: Camper Drop Off & Sign In
9 AM-12 PM: AM Class
12 PM-1 PM: Lunch & Supervised Recess
1 PM-3 PM: PM Class 
3 PM: Camper Pick-up & Sign Out
3 PM-5 PM: Extended Care (Optional)

Lunch Provision:

Students are encouraged to bring their lunch. A microwave is available for heating food. Blaze Robotics Academy will provide lunch for an additional fee of $50.00/week.

Cancellation Policy:

You may choose between two refund options: a 100% refund minus a 3% processing fee (plus any applicable taxes) if requested at least 30 days before the activity begins, or a 100% credit that can be applied to future programs, available until the activity starts. If your student cannot attend the program due to illness or an emergency, please contact our staff to discuss transferring to a different session or program. In the event that Blaze Robotics Academy cancels the program, you will receive a full refund of the fees paid.
