Braeburn Lake Summer Camp
We provide a unique overnight camping experience for Yukon kids 6-14 yrs old at our beautiful camp on the shores of Braeburn Lake.
Apply here to be a Counsellor in Training (CIT). Please apply for each camp week that you are available. (This may mean you will have multiple camp sessions in your shopping cart. The Camp Director will be in touch with you as soon as possible to confirm your application.
Counsellors-in-Training are young people 13 and 16 years old who help counsellors run their cabins. They support the counsellors and volunteers in getting the campers ready for their days, delivering programming, cleaning up from activities, and sharing in the enthusiasm.
Being a CIT is not a free trip to camp; it’s leadership and skills training. Though it can be fun as an older camper to join in the activities, CITs have responsibilities in helping camp run including cleaning, kitchen help, and making sure the kids get to bed.
We encourage our CITs to enroll in our Youth Leadership Camp - June 29 to July 4 where they will learn required leadership skills and have fun being a "camper" at the same time. As an appreciation for volunteering to be CITs for the summer camps, they will be eligible for a Volunteer Refund. Once their registration for CIT has been completed, a refund will be processed for their Youth Leadership Camp fee.
Please go to Summer Camp to register and pay for this week.
