In Contemporary Dance, students expand their technique and repertoire while emphasizing their own artistic voice as the driver of creativity. Learners are encouraged to draw upon the skills needed to create supported and sustained movements as they explore devising processes that center the collective power of the ensemble. This is an excellent technique class for students currently enrolled, or interested in BAX's Youth Performance Workshop Ensemble.
