Beginner Level 1 Swim Lessons-Week 6 (July 27-July 31); $120/week (M-F); Meet at SYVUHS pool from 3:00-3:45 PM.

• Must be at least 2 years old on the first day of class.

Description:

• Introduction to the water
• No experience required
• Parent or Guardian may participate (may enter small pool, may sit at the side of the big pool)
• Focus on teaching respect for the water and water safety
• Lots of Play
• Acclimation to the water/overcoming fear of the water

Goals:

• Learn to get the head and entire body wet
• Demonstrate listening and following instructions from the teacher
• Learn pool rules and water safety principles and procedures
• Participate in the class without a parent or guardian
• Blow bubbles and/or hold breath and submerge
