CANUSA Games 2026 – Golf Tryouts (Team Hamilton)

The CANUSA Games return in 2026, with Team Hamilton heading to Flint, Michigan from August 7–9, 2026. Golf athletes are invited to try out for the opportunity to represent Hamilton in this long-standing international competition.

Tryouts are open to athletes aged 8–18 with experience in competitive or recreational golf. Selections will be based on overall performance, skill level, course awareness, and the ability to compete in a structured tournament environment.

What to Expect

• Evaluation of golf fundamentals including driving, iron play, short game, and putting
• On-course or simulated play to assess scoring ability and decision-making
• Focus on sportsmanship, pace of play, and readiness for competition
• Opportunity to represent Hamilton on an international stage

Team Commitment

Athletes selected to Team Hamilton will:

• Compete in Flint, Michigan from August 7–9, 2026
• Be expected to participate in team practices or preparation sessions (if applicable)
• Represent Hamilton with professionalism, respect, and sportsmanship

Billeting & Accommodations

Billeting remains a core part of the CANUSA experience, helping build connections between athletes and families.

A modified billeting option will also be available, allowing families to book accommodations through a designated hotel partner if preferred. Full details will be shared following team selection.

Fees & Registration

• A small registration fee applies only if selected to the team
• Financial assistance and scholarships are available
• Full Games registration will open after team selections are finalized
