As a youth development organization, the CYC provides services and leadership to meet the emerging needs of young people and their families in our community, so all young people acquire the skills, self-confidence, and opportunities to realize their full potential and to thrive in a Global Society. In our effort to help local kids develop the leadership skills they need to grow, learn, and thrive, we strive to build a strong foundation for kids based on three strong pillars: 1. GET YOUR GEEK ON Let your child find and embrace their love of all things science and technology, while furthering their creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. 2. FIT FOR LIFE Let your child have the opportunity to play games like basketball and dodgeball, and learn how to prepare healthy meals. Although we love tech, we realize it should be used sparingly, and now have No-Tech-Tuesdays, to get some time away from the screen! 3. SUPERHEROES Let your child discover the Superhero in themselves through community projects that develop their leadership skills, while tapping into their ethics, empathy, and compassion.
