Dû aux conditions d'exploitation des cultures afro-descendantes dans l'industrie, cette opportunité est rare. Communauté Cat's Corner s'engage à offrir l'accès à Vernacular Spectacular à tout danseur afro-descendant. Cette bourse est disponible sur demande pour un accès gratuit à l'événement !

Vernacular Spectacular, c'est mettre au centre l'africanité de la danse jazz. Les artistes invités s'inscrivent dans un contexte culturel plus large des cultures diasporiques noires, riches d"expériences multiples, d'une mémoire culturelle profonde. Vernacular Spectacular vise à créer une opportunité d'immersion par le mouvement et sa musique, et à nous donner une chance de transformer notre expérience collective des danses jazz.

SCHOLARSHIP: One of Vernacular Spectacular's missions is to create learning opportunities with Cultural Bearers, capable of transmitting an experienced and informed knowledge of Jazz culture.
Due to the conditions of exploitation of Afro-descendant cultures in the industry, this opportunity is rare. Communauté Cat's Corner is committed to offering access to Vernacular Spectacular to any Afro-descendant dancer. This scholarship is available upon request for free access to the event!

Vernacular Spectacular is all about centering the Blackness of Jazz Dances. The guest artists are part of a wider cultural context of black diasporic cultures, rich in multiple experiences and deep cultural memory. Vernacular Spectacular aims to create an opportunity for immersion through movement and music, and to give us a chance to transform our collective experience of jazz dance.
