During this 90-minute session, you and your friends will have fun playing full games while our live coaches offer practical, individualized advice.  Need help absorbing a specific concept? We have interesting activities and puzzles that will have you rocking the en passant, delighting in the queen fork, and confident in your Sicilian Defense in no time. As your ability grows, so will your confidence.  Before you know it, you’ll be combining creativity with logical thought, not only on the chess board, but also in your everyday life. Not bad for an afterschool chess club, right?

Notes: CIC Live Online Chess Clubs bring a small group of students together for weekly online chess lessons and chess games. CIC Chess to Life Instructors use video conference technology to provide an engaging, interactive learning environment, facilitating insights and building life skills such as decision making, goal setting, emotional intelligence, and respect for others. No physical chess sets are required. Full instructions and links will be sent out to registered students before the class.
