Open to all ages, but this month's Second Saturdays is geared towards educators of all kinds- including families! Kids are welcome- take the scavenger hunt challenge amongst the resource totes and around the Nature Center! 

Educators- check out the contents of our IDNR (Illinois Department of Natural Resources) Resource Trunks, which are are correlated to the Illinois Learning Standards and available to borrow at no cost to educators, organizations, homeschool co-ops, as well as individual families!

The trunks will be set out for display, with staff on hand for questions.  Items may be set up outside at the Nature Center shelter or inside, depending on weather, so dress for the weather!

This is a free program for all ages! Be sure to dress for the weather and enjoy a nature hike through the woods!

Donations are accepted to support nature programs. Pre-registration recommended but not required.
